Nikola Tesla contacts Thomas Alva Edison about Plus Ultra in 1926

Thomas Alva receives a Telegram from Nikola Tesla dated July 5, 1926.

It’s finally happening.

Though our dealings through the years have been… turbulent… it my hope that, over there, we can leave all of that behind.

I like to think of Plus Ultra as the family I never started. There is so much in store for us, further beyond. I cannot wait to share it with the world, brother.

Nikola

Why did Nikola change his mind?

This telegram is dated 1 month and 4 days after the arrival of their granddaughter Norma Jeane Baker on June 1, 1926. She would grow up to become Marilyn Monroe.

  1. Greetings,

I’m not the best speller but I see the word “writen” is spelled incorrectly on your website. In the past I’ve used a service like SpellAlerts.com or SiteChecker.com to help keep mistakes off of my websites.
